A few answers to common questions towards the program:
A boy scout has to be a least 11 years old or have earned the Arrow of Light as cub scout and be older than 10. The maximum age is 18. Younger boys can join the cub scouts and there is a girl scout program in the Bonn area (Information can be provided by Tony)
The cost of the program is a yearly fee of 117 Euro. In addition, each boy needs a uniform and a book (approximately 50 Euros) and there are costs associated with camping and various activities
The program is open to citizens of all countries and to boys of all religions
We ask that all parents get involved by helping out with administrative duties, in organizing an event or leading a merit badge class. We have found that there are ways to organize around even the busiest of schedules and that the parents have enjoyed their involvement
We usually meet on Sundays at 3:30 every second weekend in Mehlem. Campouts usually start on Friday at 6 PM and go until Sunday noon depending on the distance traveled
