Stefan Prystawik, Committee chair for the Troop: Stephan has been involved in scouting for a number of years both with the Berlin cub scouts and the cub scouts and boy scouts in Bonn.  He handles certification and registration of the troop and coordinates with our chartering organisation, the American Protestant Church in Bonn

Catherine Gritz, Secretary for the Troop: She is active among the cub scouts and leads the girl scout group in Bonn

Christine Chapman, Treasurer and Advancement coordinator for the Troop: Is responsible for monitoring the outlays and registration fees and ensures that the boys get credit for rank advancement and merit badges completed

Michael Kunst, committee member: Takes the lead in various events (canoeing, back-packing)

Fred Wurm, committee member: Fred is one of the founders of Intercamp, which in the last 40 years has grown to a huge camping event involving boy scouts from Germany, England, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic and other nations. Troop 56 always goes to Intercamp and has a good time! 

Tony Bergmann, Scoutmaster: Tony is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the troop. He works together with the boy leaders to make sure that the Troop has fun and makes progress in the program. Tony started working as an adult leader for the cubscouts (committe chair, treasurer) as his sons joined and has worked in scouting for the last 8 years. He reports to the committee

Oliver Gritz, Assistant-Scoutmaster: Oliver has worked on various events (cycling trip along the Sieg, climbing, ski-trip). He is a founder of RideforReading together with Tony

Various other parents contribute their time by helping out at campouts or organizing events

Boy scout rules sensibly prohibit us from mentioning by name our boy leaders. However, we can say that we have a number of boys that have been with the troop 4-6 years, quite of few of whom have "graduated" with the rank of Eagle scout, the highest rank in scouting
